Not sure when you did your last AeT Test. But if it has been a while and you have been training in Z1/Z2, then target a slightly higher heart rate.

Thank you!
Drift takes into account your heart rate as well as the pace. When you try to keep your heart rate steady throughout the test, your pace is likely to change and Pa:Hr in Trainng Peaks will capture that.

You can do the last eight weeks of ME before the start of your mountaineering season.

Your tests seem okay even though they were done at different target heart rates. Did the effort feel easy and relaxed (conversational) for your second test at the initial heart rate of around 145?
Couple of things that I would recommend –
– Try doing a longer warm-up and let the heart rate stabilize before starting the test
– Try to hold your heart rate close to your initial heart rate throughout the testShashi on December 10, 2021 at 2:41 pm · in reply to: Heart Rate Monitor Troubleshooting Advice #60593I went through three Wahoo Tickr’s, the first one worked for a year and the other two worked well only for a few months. Now I am with Polar H10 since September. No issues so far but will give it another year.

I use a Polar H10 as well but use it with my Coros Watch. I have a Coros and TP app on my phone. After the workout, the workout gets uploaded from my watch to the Coros app and then to the TP app.
Apple Health App vs. Polar Flow – I haven’t used them so can’t comment on which is better. You will have to figure out a way to sync your workout with TP. Installing TP app on iPhone and then syncing it with Apple Health or Polar Flow might be the easiest option.
