Putting your fitness/endurance capacity on hold during stressful periods?

    How should I think about my training when work, or home, situation goes out of hand and I have to cut down my training to only 2-3 sessions per week for a period of 4-6 weeks? My base concern is not to loose my hard earned endurance capacity, especially long distance running capacity.

    Any ideas on how to think?

    Prioritize Aerobic workouts and one strength session a week. You might find this forum discussion helpful –

    Thank you for the reply and the link to the previous discussion. Sounds reasonable to do a strength session and 1-2 longer z1-2 sessions, preferably running to keep structures strong.
