@markpostle @nateemerson – any thoughts on this? Taking the tyre back out on Friday.
I use the ‘Strength’ option on my Garmin Fenix and then it syncs automatically to the TP Chamfit Session. Then as Mark said I plug in 50TSS.

Preparations complete – will let you know how the 1st session goes. Some nervousness as it seems tough on my patio let alone going uphill on trails!
mattmay3s on February 25, 2022 at 2:12 am · in reply to: 24 Week Expeditionary Mountaineering Training Plan #63633From a client’s perspective, I’ve done the 24 week plan twice before as preparation for Elbrus and Spantik and found it great. BUT it was much ‘easier’ (being a relative term) than the Advanced levels of this Training Group.
thanks fellas
@mark – just tried to rig my pack like this and there is no gap to pass the webbing through between the hip belt and the pack as in the video – its all one integral unit. I’m thinking I’ll just pass the webbing around the pack so it sits between my lower back and the pack but isn’t held in place between the hip belt and pack as per the video. As its flat I can’t see it rubbing.
Seem reasonable?
Thanks Mark
sorry to hassle you guys – but could do with sight of the plan for week commencing 13 Feb. When will it be added to TP?
Thanks Mark – v useful

mattmay3s on January 17, 2022 at 8:49 am · in reply to: How will training progress in the next training group? #62240Hi Steve – just paid the fees for the next 12 weeks and completed the forms. ON the call you mentioned 3 levels but I could only see 2 on the self assessment form. Chose Advanced as that’s what I’m on now – presume the ‘switch over’ is pretty automated from our point of view if not yours! Cant wait for the ME Water Carries!
@Umer – thanks for asking that I’d missed the 2 week gap!

My ego was severely bruised as I started my journey with UA and everyone started overtaking me. On the plus side my wife now loves hiking with me as I’ve slowed down and we can have a conversation while we hike 🙂
