Zoe has stacked up coaching experience of 20 years across various sports like triathlons, off-road triathlons (Xterra), long-distance mountain biking, ultrarunning, swimming, etc. She has worked in the health and fitness industry for almost 30 years.
Zoe did her bachelor’s in exercise science when it was called exercise technology. She has been training athletes since early 2000. She has coached athletes in various outdoor sports, like all disciplines of MTB and road cycling, gravel racing, all lengths and disciplines of triathlons, long-distance bikepacking, and ultrarunning. She believes biomechanics and properly functioning bodies are the core of being a healthy athlete. She is an expert in training aging athletes. For instance, her oldest athlete is a centenarian.
She is constantly learning and updating herself on the latest science behind training. She understands that there is no defined way to train an athlete. A wide range of knowledge helps her find what coaching style will work best for an individual athlete. She takes pride in translating the science of training into practice and communicating it in a way anyone can understand.
She has raced MTB Cat. 1 for over 20 years. She actively does other sports: swimming, trail running, classic XC/backcountry skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, and alpine skiing (since the age of 5). She recently took up alpine touring.
