I think at the top there is an option to make it public and get a URL that you can send to whoever you want.
Attached are my charts:

Thanks, Dada. How would I calculate elevation gain using a calculator?
The above example was a 2-hour treadmill run at 15% incline, but no elevation was recorded.
My Garmin watch does not give any elevation gain for treadmill runs (see attachment) and the Training Peaks workout then shows 0 elevation gain. Maybe I could use a Stairclimber and calculate the elevation based on the number of steps or floors that the Stairclimber records? This would be for the workouts that require elevation, not the recovery ones.

If such hikes (where my HR is around 90 for about half the time), would they be in addition to, or in place of, the Easy Recovery workouts in the Plan?
Yes, I take indoor classes and was initially focused on getting to the top of my route but, more recently, have been focusing on techniques since I’ve found that just reaching the top doesn’t give me the same adrenaline rush it used to.
Thanks so much!!!
I think the reason I am not seeing much improvement with indoor rock climbing is because I have been doing it once a week, which really isn’t enough.
Yes, this is very helpful. I will look into the Anderson book. Right now, my goal is general mountaineering but might get into some technical alpinism at some point (I get bored easily, so love to try new things and learn new skills).
Thanks so much to both of you!!!
Which model of Garmin do you have? I have the Forerunner 735XT and am not sure if I get that metric. Thanks.
I did a very similar itinerary in December, although my acclimitization hikes were on different mountains. I did 2 days of glacier training on Antisana and summitted Cotopaxi. Cotopaxi is not technical but steep and a beautiful climb! The scenery, including the crevasses, are stunning. You’ll enjoy it! I want to climb it again.
I have a Garmin Forerunner 735XT watch and a Garmin Premium HR monitor chest strap and they have worked well together for almost 2 years. The Garmin watch battery doesn’t last for more than 5-6 hours on GPS but, other than that, no complaints.
What mountains are you climbing in Ecuador and how many days?
