LINDSAYTROY: I bought those Salomon in my local sport shop (living in Central Europe).
One of my friends is lasportiva fan (narrow feet) and he prefers Lasportiva Mutant if there’s more running, it has still very sticky rubber for scrambling (more sticky than Bushido), and Lasportiva TX Guide for harder scrambling and less running.You could also look at the neu running approach shoes from Scarpa – Rapid. They look not very different from Salomon alpine pro. They are quite neu, so no personal experience.

With the bike you can train easy and also hard, and can use whole body. If you like an upper body workout you can still leave your legs on the side and use only arms.
Is there a difference between training for steeper faster ascents, where you want to be done in 3-4 hours and the longer one?
Do I Progress after some time also with weight? First few workouts with my 30% 1rm were challenging but now it doesn’t feel heavy at all. Thanks

I´m in the Base Period and started the gym Max Strength circuit workout (page 227 TFTNA). In the book it´s written that I should spend on the Max Strength at least 8 weeks. Does my four exercises stay the same in those 8 weeks, or can I change them after 4 weeks to some other exercises? Thanks
