STEEP Uphill hike

    I’m about to start my base period in my 24 weeks mountaineering plan. I noticed that i have a workout that is called «steep uphill hike». Should i do it with weight on my back? Any recommendations on how much weight? Is there any height difference that i should take into consideration?

    Weight and elevation specifics will be detailed within each workout. If a workout makes no reference to either, then don’t use any extra weight and use the duration as the amount of work to be done.

    (It’s better to speed up before getting heavy, so our plans start without extra weight.)
