What’s everyone’s 2c on ski touring as part of the workouts in the 24 week plan. I am doing the plan now to prep for Rainier and some other objectives this summer but have been ski touring this winter and plan on into sunmmer with the huge snowpack.
For example my longest workout for this week is a long aerobic run or hike for 3 hours with 2000ft of vertical and no weight. Is it fine to substitute in a ski tour of similar length with about 10% body weight (basically water and avy gear)?
