increasing the training ramp

I was in the “basic” program and making reasonable progress when I got injured in mid-December. I started working my way back, found out I needed surgery and ramped back down. My total down time was about eight weeks, though I put in as much Z1 mileage as I could manage. I pushed the second half of the basic program back to account for the gap and started back in two weeks ago, at week five.

Based on my performance since restarting, though, I think I may have been too conservative. I am wondering whether I should just keep on the track I am on or “jump ahead” a couple of weeks in the program. I don’t really need the two weeks back (I don’t have any significant goals in the next eight weeks) but it would be nice to steepen the CTL ramp if I can so I can move into the intermediate program.
