Yes please! I followed #5 with the first weighted session and feel good about following that. It is disjointed in the schedule so adding that back in will be really helpful, thank you!

Yes that second option is probably best. So if I break it down, Rest, ME, Long Weighted and Cham Fit are the components that are being adjusted with the work counted as Z1 days? I think I understand, Thank you Mark!
Hey Mark,
I am trying to figure out the WO#. From our start date in Oct, it looks like we are at #5 and today is only refers to the Intro WO 1 & 2 and #3.
Next week it mentions #5 so what progression am I looking at? I am on track for #5 but is is not scheduled till next week?I am a guide as well and have the same question. I did speak with Steve and Scott a few years back trying to categorize guiding. I remember treating it as low intensity but medium to high volume. I struggle with a lot of entry level work which are often at a slow pace so many hours with less than 5 miles and 2K’ of vert over 4-6 hours. This might be upto 3 days a week in early winter so I too would love to hear how to balance that with trying to improve speed and stamina.
I look forward to this discussion!

I am not injured or suffering overuse. I started the Ultra Program in April and the long runs are scheduled for Monday, now the day after a summit climb. I am 200 pounds so running the 15+ miles the next day is not ideal without a rest day. I asked about the cycling mainly because without the weight bearing I feel good getting out for a long ride and can stay on schedule without feeling overworked or sore. I feel fit and I am about to turn 50 so the last 20 years of mt guiding have made rest a premium for my joints. I live in Seattle so I can mix my runs with trail and road. My other question or concern is how to categorize the summit day, usually 9-10 hour event, mostly Z1 , with an hour or 2 of Z2 with 5K of up.
