The first thing I would check would be the battery in your chest strap. That has solved these issues for me. Second, if you have really dry skin, then using aloe gel on the sensor pads may be better than relying on just sweat.
my monitor goes crazy went my hr gets elevated. happened the other day when i was in z3. bpm was 135+. the boom 240+. (i’m 73, so my zones are relatively low)
just happened now doing a z2 session. was 119 after 54 min. suddenly boom, 243.
of course, i finished the 1-hour session. then took pulse at neck. bpm was consistent with the training, not the monitor reading.
anyone know what’s up?
