You can think of sprints as the “base building” of speed. Like Zone 1 for endurance, they can be done in all periods.

I have some question.
I don’t understand when I can introduce ME and uphill sprints.
In the transition period I have to improve general strenght. Can I use uphill sprints in this period?
In the base period I have to improve ME. Can I use uphill sprints in this period?
In advance period, I have to continue with uphill sprints, is it correct?
I’m italian and i hope my english is clear.
