It could be either distance or duration, but for mountain sports (where pace changes so much), the duration is often more useful.
% volume weekly training for transition period
I was reading in the book that it gives workouts in % of weekly volume. Not sure what that exactly means…. does that mean if you’re training 400 hrs a year, which breaks down to 8 hrs a week. Bbn so if it says 30% would that be 2.4hr workout? And so on? Or is that mileage? And if its mileage how do you guess/set it?
