Hi guys,

I’m thinking about moving to California. Does anybody know if ski mountaineering is a thing there? And is it comparable to ski mountaineering in the (European) Alps?

ski mountaineering in the Sierra is Awsome! Big peaks and big connect the dots routes and traverses…..fantastic Spring skiing says me the Colorado skier…..my only trips there in the Spring have been amazing terrain…..can’t say enough positive……Chet

So, you would recommend LA over SF here? I’m also considering Vancouver but the rainy northwest is kinda deterring during summer.
