Went out and injured my foot running a few days ago. It hasn’t gotten much better after a few days rest. I haven’t been to the doc of physio because of switching jobs and health insurance so
i’m not sure what is the issue yet.
I was looking to do some cycling until I can get back to running. I was curious if I should still use HR while doing this. I have access to a wattbike and I know the majority of bikes have switched to watts for determining training. Should I continue to use HR or switch over to watts for training.
Unless you know your power “zones” I suggest using HR AND perceived effort. You might want to write into to our PT in the injury section of this forum and explain your injury to see if he can give you some advice.
