Training Plan adaption to own level

    Hi to all!
I’m interested in purchasing the “20 Week Luke Nelson’s Intro to Ultra Running Training Plan”. While reading the description and the sample workouts I was asking myself how it could be adapted to my level of fitness. As I understood it, one point is finding out my HR Zones (which I already know). Should the distances be adapted (they seem low at the beginning)? Anything else?

    Thanks
    Patrick

    Patrick,

You certainly can adjust the distance upward if you are already running in excess of the recommended starting miles/week. I’d use the same progression over all but with your higher miles. Recall that is plan is an “intro” plan and it sounds like you already have a pretty decent running base.
