Hi Everyone, My watch, which is approximately 3 years old, abruptly stopped reporting my heart rate a few weeks ago. All other functions seem to work accurately. I have a one-year-old Polar chest heart rate monitor. I have reset the watch, changed the battery on the heart rate monitor, and washed the heart rate monitor. Any suggestions?

Hiker, have you tried testing the HR strap and monitor by pairing it with the Polar app and using that to record a workout? If it works, then that narrows down the possible causes of the problem.

Hi Jane, Yes, I tried to pair it with the Polar app last night. The app was unable to find the heart rate monitor. So, the problem is with the monitor. I was hoping it would last longer than it did. Just ordered another chest heart rate monitor.

Hey Hiker,
I’ve also had that problem. I replaced the battery in the HR strap and was back at it. Did you replace the battery in the HR strap?
