    1. Even unweighted, I have real difficulty touching the ground from 12″. Is it ok to drop down to an 8″ or even 6″ riser?
    2. How are people calculating elevation gained and distance when using a stair master? Just multiplying the number of steps by the number of inches of the riser or the depth of the step and dividing by 12?
