Fasted ME training?

    Hi, I have a question regarding the ME workouts (uphill weight carry). Are there benefits in doing these in a fasted state (when done in a Z1/2 zone)?

    Doing these fasted will lower your ability to sustain the higher work output in these. I’d suggest keeping you fasted workouts for the low intensity basic aerobic work.

    @copilot67: The reason being, your heart rate won’t reflect your actual output in these workouts. Your heart rate should be in zone 1/2, but the load on your legs will be in 3/4. With that intensity, you definitely want to go into the workout fully fueled.
