Jason Antin, a native of Massachuesetts who now calls Colorado home, has demonstrated a genuine love of athletics and fitness throughout his life. After graduating from St. Lawrence University where he studied Sports Medicine and played defensive end for the football team, Jason shifted his entire focus on helping others achieve their goals in the outdoors.
Jason has been a trainer and certified coach for over 20 years. For the last decade, he has transitioned his energy towards helping people become more prepared for objectives in the mountains with a two-pronged approach. He works as a professional mountain guide, where he can be in the field face-to-face with his clients, helping them build the skills they need to tackle a given objective. When not in the hills, he works as a mountain performance coach, designing programming and providing his athletes with a strategic approach to preparing mentally and physically for the demanding environment found in outdoor pursuits.
Jason shares his home in Golden, CO with his wife Jenny and his two daughters Avery and Andora. He loves encouraging his girls to explore the mountains and enjoys moving quickly in the mountains over all mediums that mother nature shares with us whether that be trails, rock, ice or snow.
Some of Jason’s most memorable mountain exploits include summiting Denali twice in a week, once via a single-push of the Cassin Ridge, climbing the Nose In A Day during his first time on El Cap, and combining endurance & alpine skills to create incredible adventures like the “Orizaba Rodeo” and the Rainier Infinity Loop.
He also continues to work on his Beat Monday project (featured on Outside TV), where Jason utilizes years of mountain experience and looks for creative and challenging ways to squeeze the most adventure out of your standard 2-day weekend.
