When to extend transition period

Hi,
thank you for your great books! I am currently in the last weeks of my transition period and then I would like to follow the Cat 1 runner base period.
I am in stage 2 of general leg strength and have mild ADS. Therefore I wondered if it would be best if I wait with the introduction of ME and Hill sprints and basically extend the transition Period until I reach stage 3 of general strength? I have no races coming up just some personal goals in August and September 2021.
