Strength routine TftUA too anaerobic?

    Hi,
The strength routine outlined in TftUA allows only minimal rest between exercices. Even if the number of reps are low, my HR is way above AeThr. Doesn’t it contradict the principle that (too much) anaerobic training is detrimential for the aerobic system.

Why does the routine not allow more rest between sets? Alactic anaerobic training (pure strength or sprints with long rest between each sets (2-5 minutes), seems to have less negative outcome on the aerobic system than anaerobic lactic workout (moderate reps, low rest between sets) like the one described in TftUA.
What do you think about this concern?

AnT work in a strength session is not extensive enough to be a problem.

HR is a poor measure of short-duration intensity; it will remain higher long after the local load has decreased. The local load is what’s important, not the HR.

I had the same thought. Look at the overall # of hours you spend doing the strength workout vs aerobic workouts.
