Heart Rate permanent change

I’m looking for some advice. A few months ago my heart rate started running consistently 20 beats higher. Doesn’t matter if I’m trail running, hiking, or recovery walks. I’ve replaced my heart rate strap.

On a training course where my average HR would have been 130, it’s now 150.

I’m in the process of ruling out anything medical. I feel fine, my energy is good, my fatigue level low.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas of what could cause this.

    Thanks

Are you moving faster on these workouts? If you are seeing a performance increase and a higher HR that could be because your aerobic threshold pace has moved up. 20 beats a lot but that’s all I can think of. It sounds like you are not using a writ based HR monitor. Other than these things I can’t see what would cause this.
