    Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this message, if not, let me know.

I am Christian, 34yo from The Netherlands. I am planning to go on an expedition in the Himalaya, Nepal in Spring ’23. Aiming for 6000m or 7000m+ mountains (20k – 23k ft). Last year I summited Lobuche East, Kyajo Ri and Cholatse. The last 2 are quite technical. I climbed them all alpine style, but guided. Next spring I would like to head out again to Nepal, but without a guide this time. Yet, my climbing partner of last year is not able to join, hence why I am looking for a climbing partner with similar ambitions.

My plans are not fixed at all, so I am open to alternative suggestions! Are you stoked? Let me know.

    Christian

    Hi,

I did Chopicalqui guided last summer and have climbed Denali as well and am planning on a few different trips next summer. I’m not able to take much time off in Spring, but was considering Pik Lenin in July ’23 if that’s something you considered. Definitely looking to break that 7km barrier as well. My usual partners from lower peaks do not quite have the experience/skill/fitness required for a longer objective like this, definitely would be open to input.

    Hi!
Sounds like great experiences you have had in the Americas. I think I will be going for spring time in Nepal, due to personal circumstances. I have been looking at Pik Lenin, but I do think this mountain is quite crowded and not so technical. Not sure if that is what I am looking for.
Anyway, good to know your ambitions, in case your or my situation changes, let’s keep in touch.
