    Hello everyone,

I have an upcoming Mountain Trail race that is 30 km with 1600m of elevation. The terrain will be quite technical. My training for these races usually is to do 1-2 intervals on flatter terrain and then on the weekend do a Long Run on the trails. Sometimes back to back Long Runs if I’m training for a mountain Marathon. For this race, I’ve decided to do more trail-specific training for the last block leading to the race. The reason is a want to gather more elevation+ in the week instead of doing all of it on weekend long runs. So my question is for this race should I aim for about a weekly elevation of 1600m which is the total of the race or should I do more? The max elevation gain I’ve done in a week in the past is around 2.000m+
