Aerobic threshold drift test revisited
So over the last month or so, I have been mostly base training and do a weekly HR drift test. What is interesting is that, compared to one year ago, my aerobic threshold appears to be lower by HR (~78% of max HR compared to ~82% of max HR a year ago) but my pace is higher.
So my question is this: Can your aerobic threshold increase by pace but lower by HR?
