Wahoo workouts showing up as unplanned

I’m having trouble getting TrainingPeaks to recognize my Wahoo workouts (I have a TICKR band). When I finish the workout in the app and upload it to TP, it shows up as an unplanned workout rather than whatever was in the TP schedule for the day. Is there a mapping of Wahoo workout types to TP workout types that will allow TP to automatically link it, or do I need to manually export each workout data to a .fit file and then drop it into the app on my computer?

I think I might have resolved my own question – I noticed we can drag completed workouts on top of planned ones. Is there a way to to do this on the phone?

Michal, Yes that’s right you can drag and drop them on top of each other to “force pair” It also helps if they are of the same type I.e. Both “runs” or “strength” etc. Also it work better to pair first the adjust TSS later. I haven’t found a way to do it from Mobile (there is a “completed as Planned” button you can use if there is no data) but admittedly as a coach I use the mobile platform very infrequently so there may be a few tricks in there I haven’t seen.

Thanks Mark! My hike from today also paired automatically so I think I just need to find the right categories in the Wahoo app.

I played with the mobile app this morning to try to force pair a manually created test workout with today’s scheduled workout but no luck yet.

It can definitely be done from the desktop.

As Michal says, it looks like the closer you can match the workout category within your device to the category within TP, then you get the nice green compliance color.
