    The only place I can get in training volume is the treadmill, or the stair climber at the gym. There is no stated time limit for using the machines, and I’ve been doing a hour max per day, but I think I need to add more time, at least 2 hours per day. I can’t always get there at the slow times, and after about 3pm the place fills up, and there are only 4 stair climbers.
    How bad is it to break up the daily volume into 1 hour blocks at different times?

    It’s not bad at all. If it allows you to maintain a faster average pace (because of the break between sessions), then it may even be better.

    Until COVID-19 passes, we all need to work with what we have. You’re not losing much, perhaps anything, by breaking up your sessions.
