Last week I completed a 12 week time crunched program for a Rainier klutz Glacier trip July 16. I had two weeks in between the training program and the trip and this weekend I was able to climb a nontechnical peak in the Sierra Nevada , Mt Langley which is just over 14k. I took my full pack and camped at 12500 and felt good with minimal recovery.
The program helped me to stay on track as I have been working overtime on a construction project. I found the exercises to be not too complicated to perform correctly without direct supervision. In the past I have just gone to the mountains and Hiked and climbed as much as I could. Not being able to get out as much I found this program to use my time efficiently and I feel prepared for the task ahead.
Thanks, and I will be returning for more direction.
