SkiMo 16 Week-First Steep Uphill Hike

    Just finished transition and have my first steep uphill hike today. Time given (1:20) is for uphill only. That’s fine, but just want to note that with that amount of time, I’ll likely climb ~3,500′ with a total workout time of 2:15 to 2:30. Is that ok?

    As you can imagine these plans must be fairly generic since we don’t know who will be using them. If you can do 3500ft in 1:20 then I’d say you are fine to handle that type of volume. However the real test is: How are you recovering?

    This is so individual that I can’t tell you. That’s why we spend so much time taling about recovery in our books and on our site.
