I’m new to climbing out of the USA and would really appreciate any suggestions / quidance. I’ll be climbing Mount Blanc (most likely the normal route) and the Grand Paradiso in September. What are the types of medical and rescue insurances that I should get for this trip and where can I get them? Many thanks in advance your your assistance. Ed (I’ll be a few weeks shy of being 67 years old for this climb)

Check out the American alpine club “rescue benefit”. It comes with two levels of coverage for different memberships.
