I have always had a harder time getting athletes to work on mobility and enough mobility to balance stresses of training, driving a desk, aging etc. I get it that in our busy lives everyone is struggling to get all the pieces in and mobility work is the first thing to go. I shared this with an athlete of mine recently and had a pretty significant “holy shit” moment from them. Basically it sunk in. It’s also just a really quality podcast on why we can all focus more on this area of training, recovery, and health.
