ME effect of Z3 vs. Z4 training

    Hi guys,

    I’m wondering if a Z3 workout has a greater impact on ME than Z4.

    Two example for beginners:

    Z3: 3 sets of 8 minutes with 2 minutes of recovery

    Z4: 2 sets with 6x 30s/30s

    Any ideas?

    Total time is different? I’d go for more time provided the resistance is adequate.

    I don’t understand. Are you asking if high-intensity intervals will improve ME performance? We usually program that in reverse because ME work will improve high-intensity performance.
