Offering a couple alternatives to outdoor hiking for whatever reason an athlete should be hiking outside, but can’t:
1. First, do a challenging but not exhausting level of Chamonix Fit, then mostly aerobic Hike on stairmachine with pack and boots for 1hr. (can do short bouts of hard if applicable.)
2. First, do a challenging but not exhausting level of Chamonix Fit, then variable height (from 8inches to knee height, switching as feel) step-ups and step-downs for 45min total with boots and pack. Poles are fine.
